The Swedish Tax Agency has been commissioned by the government to be responsible for the technical platform (Mekanismen) that authorities must use to identity accountholders and safes in financial companies.
All financial institutions that are affected by the law need to provide a service/API that the Swedish Tax Agency can access. Specification of how the institute’s API should be designed is determined by the Swedish Tax Agency. Read more on the Swedish Tax Agency’s website. (Swedish link)
What does CM1 offer?
We offer this to our customers as an add-on module to CM1. In short, this means that if you send the necessary account information to CM1, CM1 customers can use CM1 as an API for the Swedish Tax Agency’s API.
